Public Bank Securities Vietnam Company Limited (PBSV), owned by Public Bank Vietnam, was licensed for establishment by the State Securities Commission under License No. 21/UBCK-GPHNKD on 08 December 2006.
Public Bank Vietnam (PBVN) is a 100% foreign-owned bank, wholly owned by Public Bank Berhad, Malaysia, one of Malaysia's leading banks in terms of business performance and consistent sustainable management. Public Bank Vietnam was formerly known as VID Public Joint Venture Bank, one of the first joint venture banks in Vietnam, established on March 25, 1992, between the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and Public Bank Berhad, Malaysia. After more than 31 years of effective operation in Vietnam, Public Bank Vietnam has now expanded its network to 40 branches and transaction offices in major provinces and cities of Vietnam.
